The comments provided by Rosenberg are very similar to the sentiment I have for 50. I feel like when the dude was on, he was quite untouchable. His vivid disposition about his past on the streets provided an image of Queens that hasn't been discussed since the times of Nas and Hov first bursting on the scene. Then, with money, came a bit of a decline in quality. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed all of 50's projects...even the last few which most critics put to the side. But there was never any consistency or diverse quality in his raps.
Then he went independent. And G-unit is no longer a unit. So there we're questions...
Then he started dropping street singles. 50 learned through his time on being on a major label and is taking his intelligence into the independent market which is much stronger and more fruitful in comparison to being on a major label. Rosenberg highlights this move extremely well and below are the tracks which shows 50 Cent is back!
